Daily Spark - Energy Vs Time
Start of a new week, many of us focus on planning our time and trying to be as efficient as possible with each day and for the week. We try to increase our capacity of time through enhanced time management to "do more”. There is nothing wrong with that in and of itself, as we should try to ensure we are being productive, but we should remember we can’t control time nor can we create it. Time is finite, everyone's days are numbered and we all get the same amount. None of us can expand our capacity with time, but we can be more efficient with what we do have for sure.
Another approach that is complimentary is increasing capacity through our energy. Energy capacity isn’t capped, if you invest in it, you can get great returns. And with it, you can be more effective with your time, it can allow you to do more with your time even limited.
There are many ways to expand our energy including gratitude or appreciating others, providing help to those who need it, taking care of yourself physically and mentally, and practicing your faith for spiritual energy. These are just a few but you can get the idea.
Are you focused on time alone and trying to be ultra efficient? Maybe change up your approach and focus more on energy versus time management alone. You may find yourself overall more effective and using your finite supply of time more wisely.
