Daily Spark - Know the Gravity of Your Attitude

April 20, 2020

your attitude mattersThe reality is you have to know the gravity of your attitude. Our attitude makes a world of of difference. People with poor attitudes often don’t win as much or make it as far in life. Sure, you can have some micro wins or short term gains based on your skills and drive alone, but the negative attitude will eventually limit you and even when you do win a battle, the poor attitude will make it hard to enjoy it.

Having a positive attitude on the flip side can make a world of difference. Even for those who are average in terms of skills or mediocre in drive, a positive attitude can carry you further. It can help open your eyes to opportunities unseen by others, make those around you better through positivity, and see the bigger picture despite whatever obstacles are in front of you now.

A bad attitude definitely puts a grey lens over everything. If everything around you is dark and you are seeing dark, your thinking will be poor and everyone’s attitude will spread to each other creating a negative environment. Instead, see light and positivity, be a beacon of light in this dark around you and others will gravitate towards you rather than away from you.

Paul tells us in Philippians 2 14-15, “Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.”Especially in trying times like this, your attitude can be a huge difference maker. Will you choose to be a light for yourself and others, or the grey lens in the dark?
